Made to order felted hat.

No two felt hats will ever be exactly the same. The yarns are hand dyed in highly saturated colors, and are uniquely their own per skein. One skein may have more of one color than the next so the crown patterns are truly one of a kind every time!

✨✨To measure your head for a proper fit take a soft measuring tape, starting from above your eyebrows going around to the widest part of the back of your head and back to the front again. Place one finger under the tape measure for a comfortable fit and that is your head size. ✨✨

Multicolor Crown body of the Cloche felted hat is created using two Noro Kureyon Yarns (#124 and #88). The hats are first hand crocheted using two worsted yarn skeins together, giving it a real sweet mix of colors when felted. Brim is charcoal, with the edging and felt hat band in the accent color Forrest Heather.

All my hats are personally handmade, hand crocheted double skein using the finest merino and Shetland wool yarns, then felted down to size and desired fabric like texture. Placed on a form to dry and steam pressed, then sprayed with a stiffening agent and steamed ironed to help hold their shape beautifully for years to come. It's really quite a process and worth their work for they will keep you warm and fashion pretty! My felted hats are soft and cozy, yet hold their shape beautifully for years, water resistant, and very warm for those Fall and Winter months.

Wool's natural fibers are naturally antibacterial and self-cleaning, and have breathing properties that help regulate our body temperature, whether we’re feeling hot or cold. Wool has a tremendous capacity to absorb vapor – up to 30% of its own weight before it feels damp or wet. In other words, wool also keeps you warm even when wet!
